Lori grew up in Las Vegas, Nevada and graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a duel B.A. in English and Theater Arts. She taught Special Education in Clark County Nevada for three years before moving to Los Angeles in 1984 to pursue work in professional theater. She began working for Bill Graham Presents in 1985 at the historic Wiltern Theatre at Wilshire and Western. Lori returned to Special Education from 2000-2005 in the Burbank School District.

While serving as a vestry member at All Saints in 2003, Lori felt the call to full time vocational lay ministry. She joined the All Saints Staff in January of 2006 as interim Peace and Justice director and as permanent director in October of 2007.

Lori lives with her two teenagers, Grace and Emily Mabie, and their three Labrador retrievers. She is a passionate baseball and basketball fan, loves music of every genre - especially jazz and opera - and is the unofficial president of the All Saints Choirs fan club.
