God, My Parents & Me Will Meet Every Third Thursday in a Park!
Through Oct. 21. Bring your blanket and picnic and enjoy some time outside with other parents and children. There will be no childcare at church on those days, so kids can be with us and play. Summer Choir Continues!

Dissident Daughters
On Wednesday, Sept. 1, Women of Spirit will begin discussing this year’s book selection, Dance of the Dissident Daughter by Sue Monk Kidd. This is a personal account of her unexpected journey into feminine spirituality and reclaiming the wholeness lost within patriarchal faith traditions. Women of Spirit meet the first Wednesday of each month in the OCC room. Tutor Training for San Gabriel Valley Literacy Council ESL Classes
Saturdays, Sept. 11 & 25, 9:00 a.m.– 3:00 p.m. (You must attend both sessions to receive certificate.) Many adult non-English speakers want to communicate in English and need caring tutors. Children’s and Youth Choirs Registration Day
9:00-11:30 am in Sweetland Hall. All children and youth (K-12) are welcome in one of choirs: Minisingers (K-1st grade), Mastersingers (grades 2-3), Troubadours (grades 4-5), Middle School Trouvères (grades 6-7), and Mixed Ensemble Trouvères (grades 8-12). All choir levels register at this event. There will be no Parent Orientation Meetings. On Thursday, September 16 at 7:00 pm in the Forum, we welcome Sue Monk Kidd and her daughter Ann Kidd Taylor to talk about their new book, Traveling with Pomegranates: A Mother-Daughter Story. This is a ticketed Vroman’s event – tickets are available with book purchase at Vroman’s or the day of the event; a limited number of free tickets are available through All Saints by emailing Linn Vaughan at laughan@allsaints-pas.org.

Episcopal Night at Dodger Stadium

What’s the Next Step in Your Spiritual Life?
Figuring out the next step in your spiritual journey is significantly easier with the support of other people. Stillpoint offers a ten-month program that supports participants exploring their personal spiritual lives in a small group setting. It is open to parishioners and members of the community. The course consists of ten four-hour sessions that meet once per month, usually on Saturday. The program comes to locations across southern California with most programs beginning on Saturday, September 25 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. To register and for information about tuition, go directly to www.stillpointca.org, download the one page application and mail. If you are attending All Saints and your spirit feels moved to consider becoming a member -- or if you have been around for a while and are feeling the need to reconnect – join us for Fall New Member Class starting September 26. We welcome folks from other faith traditions, from no faith tradition and lifelong Episcopalians.
