When taking the vocational aptitude test in high school, Anne Breck Peterson had no glimmer that she would spend the second phase of her career life as a Church Lady.  After teaching junior high, senior high, and community college-level English for 10 years in various parts of the country, she answered an ad in the newspaper for a position as a lay professional on the staff at All Saints church in 1978, and nothing has been the same for her since.

 Still interested in teaching, writing, program development, and bringing people together, she believes that one of the most important spiritual gifts is humor and the ability to appreciate the ironies of life.  Currently, Anne is a member of the Associate Rector Team and serves as staff to the Vestry, the Leadership Project, and the Growth & Incorporation Task Force.

She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from Occidental College and a Master of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of the Old Dominion. 

Anne is married to the Rev. Stuart Platt Coxhead, Jr.  Between them they have two daughters, one son-in-law, two sons, and one cat.
